Company description:: Ontario (PRWEB) april 13, 2004--Rci Waterjets leads the market of cutting technologies. Water has been shaping the world’s elements since time began, at RCI, the major steel and alloy cuttings are done by waterjet equipments. The environmentally compatible Waterjets cutting technology lends itself to myriad applications and materials that were once the domain of costly, time consuming production techniques. Projects that were once impossible to accomplish through conventional methods can now be achieved with relative ease.
The abrasive Waterjets use cold water and cuts omni directional, precisely without ragged edges and no heat distortion. Customize to your cutting requirements and produce exceptional results in virtually any material, including: Aluminum & Alloys,Brass & Bronze,Carpet & Ceramic,Copper & Barium,Foam & Rubber,Glass & Acrylic,Granite & Marble,Hastelloy,Phenolic,Stainless Steel,Steel,Titanium & Alloys.
RCI has a fully dedicated “job shop” servicing virtually all industries including: Aerospace,Architectural,Artistic,Automotive,Flooring,Glass & Mirror,Interior Design,Manufacturing,Marble / Stone,Metal Fabrication,Nuclear Power,Sign & Display,Tool, Die & Machine
RCI’s CNC (Computer Numeric Controlled) Waterjet cutting system emits a 50,000 PSI (pounds of pressure per square inch) stream of water at the speed of Mach II, achieving its precision cutting action. The jet incorporates a stream of fine abrasive particles enabling it to cut hard materials. The thickness of materials can range from 0.005” up to 12”, with a potential computer controlled tolerance of 0.010”. Waterjet cutting is also dust-free, heat-free and does not generate any toxic elements.
Some of the Benefits of Waterjets Cutting include:
- Cold cutting process, eliminating heat distortion
- Greatly reduces or eliminates secondary processing
- Small kerf (0.042” – 0.060”)
- Maximizes material yield
- Initiates continuous or broken cutting at any point
- Can produce “one-off” to infinite production
- Excellent alternative to existing cutting processes
- Adaptable to resolve most problems
